Criminon® United Kingdom - Criminal Reform, Rehabilitation & Crime Prevention

Volunteer to do sponsored walk in Aid of Criminal Rehabilitation

A Criminon® UK volunteer is walking from Birmingham to London in July 2008.

The journey is almost 150 miles and will take about 6 days to complete.

He will be following the route of the Grand Union Canal and anyone that would like to join him is welcome!

The purpose of the walk is to raise much needed funds for Criminon UK.

Criminon UK is a registered charity helping to reduce the re-offending of people who have committed crime in the UK. With the prison population exceeding 80,000 and more prisons being built, it is vital that these people are given the tools to stop them re-offending.

For each crime committed there is an average of 100 victims of that crime and that could be any one of us. The cost to society reaches into the billions.

How much more survival would it be to have that money diverted to education and health or less tax for the tax-payer? This is why we need your help to raise more funds so that we can stem the flow of crime in this country.

Sponsor our volunteer: Click on the donation button to the right and enter the amount you would like to sponsor for the full 150 miles.
Please note this is not just a pledge but an actual donation for the sponsorship and your credit card will be debitted on completion of the transaction.
