was invited to give a presentation at HMP Wormwood Scrubs
in London, during the National Adult Leaner Week. From this,
we signed up 10 new students, several of whom have completed
their courses and have gone on to further courses. Here
is a success from one of these students.
"I have really gained a lot in completing
this course. It has really opened my thoughts in knowing
and understanding life itself and best ways to live it happy.
More importantly, I am now able to face any situation I
might find myself positively and patiently. And also it
has taught me how I could relate with others successfully.
It has also taught me taking the right path and decisions
in life." P.E., HMP Wormwood Scrubs

met with a group in South London, called Foundation4Life.
They give training to ex-offenders and had heard about us
from one of their clients who had been a Criminon student
whilst he was in prison. They are very interested in using
our Open College Network Accredited Learning Skills Course
to aid their clients in their future learning.

played a large part in an event held in London, called "Solutions
to Violent Crime in London". Many like-minded groups
participated and it was filmed by Channel S News, a Bangladeshi
news station. This news item was aired five times in one
day to over 70,000 viewers around the world. Part of the
broadcast was the Executive Director of Criminon UK talking
about the virtues in the Way to Happiness and the need for
raising the standards of education amongst offenders.
